    Get your dive on

So, as the colder months are setting upon us who has diving plans?

I personally am heading north into Michigan to get some awesome river diving in, now that the rec boaters have gone to sleep! Bottles galore await my diving to bring them back after laying dormant for a hundred years or more.

I'm not saying yes....I'm not saying no. It seems the last couple of times I've said: "Yes!!! I get to go dive!" have ended in great disaster so I'm not taking any chances. I'll let folks know in a dive report.

I do wish you some great dives Dave. My first thought was "Davetowz is doing a clean up dive". But that does sound pretty cool. Which river(s)?

I once saved a man in Wichita just to watch him dive...(inventor)

I do but mine are the same as the summer months just with a 5mm on rather than no extra thermal protection. S Florida has nice diving all year long though.

    ^^^ This.

Plan is to do a couple of reef dives tomorrow morning. Our first fall/winter living in south Florida and diving in a 3 mil suit in November was one of the prime motiviating factors behind the move. Not missing Kansas right now...

Mannnnnn....Is it November already! The summer flew by once again and the diving in the Midwest pretty much sucked once again. Last year floods, this year the extreme heat. Each played havoc on the dive conditions. Once again, didn't get as much diving in as I wanted. Now I'm stuck with 3 weeks of vacation left to use up by the end of the year because I've been saving my vacation time for dive trips that never happened.

Heading out on a cruise to Cos, Belize, Roatan, and Grand Cayman the 2nd week of December. Gonna try and do some diving at Bennet Springs since the trout fisherman are done with it until March.

the water temps in the river here right now are mid 30s, Nice cool water diving.

I'll be diving all winter long under the ice up here, the water is nice and clear, and the students arent there to silt it all up haha
