I was looking at the camo one and liked it. You guys are going to love the reason why I didn't get it.

I saw a show on tiger sharks not to long ago and they mentioned that they have noticed swimmers getting hit by tigers with swimshort patterns that resemble turtle shells.

I know there is no real science there but I figure why not increase my chances.

BP/W is the same no matter the color. I might order a Pink one for next year.

"Real men wear Pink".. or something, right?
Please PM me if you need any help.

It came in the mail last night. I am the proud new owner of a black 30lb Oxycheq BP/W set up. Now waiting on my trip will be a nightmare.

How did you like the 30 after your trip?

Loved it. I needed the 30lb. I was considering the 16lb wing but it would have been to small. I would never switch back to a BCD.

I'm glad you liked it. A BP/W is so nice compared to a BCD. I tried one after my 5th dive and never looked back. Much easier to stay streamlined and horizontal...not to mention the rig will stay with you as you advance.

Good choice! Glad you didn't get sucked into the ultra light lift wing. Although many divers enjoy them the advantage is so slight compared to the 30# model that you are better off with the extra lift capacity and wouldn't feel any increased streamline effect from the smaller 16# model.
I also mixed and matched using OMS backplates (I have both aluminum and Stainless Steel) and OMS deluxe comfort harness. I feel the need for at least 1 shoulder release as I've ascended to find a storm on the surface along with it's rough conditions and find the shoulder release the safest doff under those conditions.

Opinions are like gas... We're all entitled to some but people appreciate you keeping it to yourself if it stinks!
