Did you see the Moray Eel? He was HUGE! In one part of the video, you can see him flattened out, he wrapped around the entire coral head with his tail out the front side of it. We actually had to up over the coral head, and get close to the bottom to get that shot ... with rippin currents. It had rained the week before so the gullies were all full of fresh water making the currents rip as they fed in. Been diving there 5 years and never experienced them so strong. Was crazy!

In one video, we were captured zipping along, our air bubbles way ahead of us... as we were in an arms crossed (almost) laying down position...so cool to watch. He has more video to come.

(Oh, I'm sure he'll comment on your post tonight- he is out of town on business - hence me posting his video)

UH OH!! Is this in the wrong forum? Should it be in::: Forum: Scuba Diving Tube Videos

Maybe I've been looking in the wrong places, but the spiny lobster shots made me think "Okay, where's your buddy Mr. Moray?" And then.... "Howdy Mr. Moray, how ya doin'?" Nice clip

Love the gopro black. Dont use lights just a red filter
the protune preset over saturates things some time but I did not have time to tweak each clip

I carry my gopro on an aquapod stick double clipped to my bcd
when I unclip one end it is on a bungie that reaches out arms length. Then the pole extends 4 feet. You can get close to things without having to be close, like big moray ills and barracuda

Thanks! We've often seen them but never had a chance to get them on video! It's all about being at the right place at the right time!

Can you post a pix of your gopro setup? Particularly how it is on the aquapod stick and double clipped to your BCD. I am seriously considering a Gopro myself and would be interested to see how you use yours.

I'll make sure he sees this when he comes home today... he's been away on business. I'm sure he'll be happy to share his set up with you. We call him McGuiver... lol
