    Thanks for the clarification.

Success, I finally got the firmware updated. I will take a few videos next week at our open water class and see.
If it doesn't fit, force it. If it breaks it needed to be replaced anyway.

did you have to go manual?
i gave up doing the online updates a long time ago.
have not done the update yet. I tend to let them burn in amongst users and then go for it if no issues arrise
so far the only issues I am hearing is people are mad about the bitrate going down on sandisk cards. honestly I doubt seriously the end image will be noticabley different
It appears to be a solid update

Actually I tried it manually, but it wouldn't get all the files. Started over and went through the letting java do it and surprisingly it worked well. I haven't taken any pictures or videos with it, I didn't want to push my luck. I did reconnect with the wifi and put my settings back in. That beeping gets old fast.

you can turn that off in settings
I hate it to and since now you have recording lights on the back of the camera the beeps seem a little moot
diving I know I just need to see that red light flash and I am recording
    dont need no stinking beeps

I turned off the beeps & the flash in front also. Printed the instructions out & put in a folder so I can change stuff on a trip.
