    Recovery from groin pull

Still hurting from groin injury incurred mid-July. I did 20 dives in Bonaire first week of September, once in water I felt great! On land is another matter...any suggestions regarding therapy and exercises to aid recovery? Thinking I could lap with swim fins in pool to strengthen legs, just not frog-kicks (ouch!). My wellness center has salt water lap pool and heated Therapy pool. I am taking an over-the-counter pain reliever, and icing the area daily. Does anyone have other suggestions?

Are you sure this is just a groin pull? If it's a hernia it will need to be repaired. They don't get any better.

Not a hernia; there is no bulging or excessive swelling. Any suggestions as to therapy?

I'm not a doctor or Pt, but if it is strained tendon then rest is the only answer.
