    Mares Regulator Service interval

I know its been discussed on other Scuba forums as well but does anyone know if you dive say 50 dives in a year to do the one year service or wait for another year until it hits say 100 dives.
Looking specifically at a Mares Carbon 52 regulator service interval, it being carbon and well sealed should not need the 1 year maintenance but rather perhaps 2 year? I know the MR22 says 2 years. Any thoughts?

the 1 year is a generally look over and to make sure the IP is holding, the 2 yr 100 dive is a full rebuild with a poppet change. the tri material poppet is supposed to be changed every 2 years.
