I have always bought 2 at a time myself so I am safe so far. Now with 2 grandkids starting diving it will go up. 4 or 6 minimum now.
If it doesn't fit, force it. If it breaks it needed to be replaced anyway.

In all respect to John Clease, Eric Idle, Graham Chapman, Terry Gilliam and the rest of the Monty Python cast:

"And on that day it was written: You will buy two tank, no less. Two shall be the number of the tanks you will buy and not one. Three tanks, you may acquire, also four. But no less than 2!" An the Lord did grin and the divers feasted on Lobster and Crab and Grouper and Clown fish and..

I once saved a man in Wichita just to watch him dive...(inventor)

I just reread the original post, and I realized that you were asking about SCUBA tanks. Sorry...

I just re-read Largo's original post and now I'm wondering if I should buy a tank. A Sherman would be out of my price range at over $250,000 but I might be able to swing a Russian T-55 Main but I'd have to sell my house to afford it.

Could I interest you in a Gamma Goat? Only driven to church on Sundays by a little old lady.
