    New to SCUBA

I've wanted to get certified since 8th grade, and I finally have room in my class schedule (now that I'm a senior in college) to take a SCUBA diving class. Super excited to start diving even though there isn't anywhere in eastern washington, I'm excited to go diving in the Puget Sound back home.

Welcome to the forum. A word of warning....for some diving is a fun activity, then for the unfortunate few, it is an addiction without a cure. I hope you are one of those that this is an addiction. My only regret is that I didn't start diving when I was your age. I am a long ways from any salt water, but that doesn't stop me. As long as it is 8 feet or so deep and has a few feet of visibility, then it is worth diving.
