    Question Football Delemma ?

I have real Football Delemma to decide on for tonight. It is the big local game "Battle of Big Sandy" between the town I live near & the next town over. The problem is that we've always backed the local team. But this year for some wierd reason the step granddaughter decided to swith schools & now attends the rival school & is one of thier cheer leaders.
So do I go and sit on the rivals side or back the local team? I'm leaning towards backing the home team and just making some people unhappy. I didn't switch my music tastes to the new stuff so why switch my backing? Not that I'm stuck or anything just comfortable with life in general.

I think you gotta go with family on this one. There will always be other games, and I am sure your fellow fans will understand. Plus it's not like you are switching sides, it just means that you are there for her, not there for her team.

Just my 2 cents, though. Not even really a sport's fan, if I am being honest
Rock on, go big or go home, hit the ground running, hang in there kitty... don't eat the yellow snow...

I would but I think I would be the only one. My better 15/16ths, daughter in law & our son are sitting on our side not the grandaughter. They said they wouldn't wear the colors of either team, that way they're neutral. I'm dressed for our team.

The Granddaughter probably didn't have a choice in switching schools; so, it isn't like she put everybody in this dilemma. Teams come and go, but she will always be your Granddaughter. My gut is saying you need to support her.

My son actually went to school and played for a school/team that was my rival when I was in school. It was very odd when we played my old school because I lived and breathed their colors for so many years and left sweat and blood on the their field. However, I never once thought I would sit on the opposing side from my son.

Just do whatever your wife says. Remember she controls the diving.

Do what you're told, smile and nod, then get quietly drunk.

Don't know how many of you were fans of the "Red Green Show" and know of the Possum Lodge Pledge.it went something like this-
    " I'm a man yes dear I,m , I am a man I'm wrong"
So as I've reached a level of knowledge & understanding after 4 wives. I'm a man, I'm wrong and I know it. I'm a man and I'm wrong even if you've changed your mind"
    I love my better 15/16ths.

That's why I drew the line at decorating my shop. She is not allowed in any barn ( shop, hay, sheep, or storage barn which keeps her yard decorations in) She came out once & wanted to start tidying up I panicked & managed to take her out quickly by suggestting we go to the local casino for her to play.
