CSSP conditions

Has anyone been to CSSP recently? We have a few of us Aquanauts that would like to come down there to do a dive in Feb. We are hoping that the visibility is better than what we have around here.

Seven of us were there last weekend. We had 6-8 foot of vis, and I had temps of 36 degrees at the surface and 42 degrees at 63 feet at the chainsaw tree. It was much better than what we had at Tenkiller on New Years Day. We only had around 2 inches of vis, with temps in the mid 40's.

We were at CSSP 1/24/16 and temps were 49 degrees. Vis was 25' around the sailboat and about 15-20' around the deep wells. We hit a couple other areas that were around 10'. Pretty good day.

Thanks, exactly what I was looking for. It looks like we will be headed to CSSP in a couple of weeks. Most of us are drysuit divers so temps are not as important to us as the vis is.

We made 3 dives on Sat. vis was 20-25 ft. (fantastic), temperature was 51 degrees. Dives lasted from 65-90 minutes, the deepest I hit was 42 feet. When we arrived we were the only 3 divers there. None of us new where anything was, and all the buoys were under water. We entered the water at the blue pontoon dock by the air fill station. We found 3 platforms and Sisco the Shark, but couldn't find any of the boats. I wish they ran lines between the underwater attractions for divers that are new to the park. Over all it was a great day diving and was able to spend over 3 hours chilling out underwater. All 3 of us were diving drysuits with dry gloves. be I would like to come back and maybe dive the other end by the plane.
