    Dear Air force,

    Best Regards, U.S. Navy.

I once saved a man in Wichita just to watch him dive...(inventor)

Is this because 1) the Navy can't figure out how to fly?, or 2) the Navy can't get it up?

(As an Artilleryman sits back and laughs.)
And on the eighth day, God said, "OK, Murphy, you take over"

You're just jealous because we have bigger guns... What's a puny 8" howitzer against a 9-gun 16" broadside? (BTW, in an earlier life, I was a combat medic assigned to 8" SP and Paladins at Ft. Sill (was fully crews serve qual'd on the 8")

Why does a sub need to fly???

It is the difference between a pin-point surgical jag with a needle into the back of the head, and burning down the building to kill 1 fly. Seven Mile Snipers.

I have some great memories from my time as a Gun Sgt with an excellent crew. My hearing took a real beating, though.

And I am also willing to bet that there are more ships at the bottom of the ocean than there are afloat. So basically, the Navy can't figure out how to make their ships fly or float. Makes you wonder...

And, Yes, a wreck of any sort makes a wonderful and wonder filled dive site.

    Hmmmmm, I was just wondering

If landing on a carrier is so hard, how come you go by yourself the first time?

If the Air Force has a seaplane, why doesn't the Navy have an Air Sub?

What is long, hard, and full of seaman? A submarine!

The reason the Air Force, Army, Navy and Marines bicker amongst themselves is that they don't speak the same language. For instance, take the simple phrase "secure the building".
The Army will post guards around the place.
The Navy will turn out the lights and lock the doors.
The Marines will kill everybody inside and set up a headquarters.
The Air Force will take out a 5 year lease with an option to buy.
