    Almost street Legal!!!

20170207_130216.jpg20170207_130225.jpg All I have left to do is finish wiring it. I have a new harness for it. My part will be a couple of days. My twin's part about a day, He's smarter (understands electrical stuff) & quicker than me. Then to terrorize the highways and my formers co workers at the PD.

Front end of a Jeep. Back end of a Bronco 2. Call it a Jeponco?

It is 87 Bronco II, 83 Chevy Impala frame & running gear, and the hood & grill are off a 48-56 Willys Overland station wagon. I've decided it's Mermaid ,model is CHEORD with the Willy option. DMV spent a while figuring out how it will end being registered. a 2017 Assembled Vehicle resembling a 1987 ford Bronco II. wierd????

I've run into a small problem called Texas DMV. seems they don't like the title I have and have had me jumping thru hoops only to find out they were the wrong hoops. So just as soon as it's finished and I get it inspected I'll be able to get a title and then on the road.

Can you tag it in another State and then transfer the title back to TX?

who know??? what problems would another state come up with. The main problem is they have just recently vhanged the rule & they don't know what to do. A supervisor spent over 4 hours with her supervisor figuring out the steps I need to take to get it done & to return only to them to get my title.

What's the problem??? "SIR!!!, (or MADAM!!!) This is a VINTAGE 87/83 Bronco Impala Overland. Why is there an issue?" I think they have issues with you telling them you want to register your Willy...

I think the real concern is how well is this thing put together. After seeing some really bad stuff on race cars I can understand why. One guy used electrical conduit for his roll cage? and some welding left alot to be desired. One thing they are reuirng is an inspection covering certain parts to be done by an ASE certifeid mechanic and where did I come up with the parts.
