Question ScubaMax BCD dive Knife on a SeaQuest BCD??

Will the ScubaMax BCD dive Knife fit on the SeaQuest BCD? http://www.scubatoys.com/store/detai...axBCDdiveKnife
My bf wants one of those little knives on his BC, but I'm not sure if its the same thing as the one that's on my Libra BCD. I just want to make sure it'll fit.

    Thanks for the help.

I posted a similar thread about my Oceanic BCs....
I am curious as the wether there is a 'standard' size knife fitting for all BCs or if they vary between manufacturers?

I am pretty sure this is the same knife Scuba.com was marketing. Same OEM.
If that is the case it can easily be attached to 2" strap. I've posted pictures of one attached to one of my harnesses. Also posted a pic of my daughter's Aeric with a wenoka mounted on the cumberbun strap. I have mounted the subject knife there as well.
The retainer unscrews so no need to unthread the straps.

I'm not sure what you mean?

there are a couple ways to mount a knife to anything... you can clamp it to a strap, or attach it through the denier...

here's some pics so you can see how I mounted mine...

mitsuguy, your knife looks good there, i like the placement.
what i was asking, is if the distance from the first screw to the second screw is the same for all knives or if they differer.
The reason I ask is that a few Oceanic BC's have two small premade grommets in them which are specifically made for BC knives, im just not sure if Oceanic/Aeris knives are the same as all other brands.
If there werent any grommets then i would have just poked a hole through but I figure since they are there then I might as well make use of them. Plus on one of the BCs it actually says 'Knife' above the grommets lol

    All knives? No.

The OP knife and the Wenoka/Seaquest BCD? No.

The OP knife and the Silver Jack/Oceanic. I cannot say.

However, you can make your own holes and mount most any knife that has screw attachment for the sheaths. Even add your own grommets.

The screw holes on this knife will not line up with the existing grommeted holes on his seaquest. Sorry if I confused with my other responses.

It can still be made to work though
