If you keep in shape I would say you have a good long time. I have seen Senior Scuba clubs where a whole boat load of q-tips were diving... you are plenty young and have years to enjoy the sport!!

I agree with everyone else. As long as you keep in good health and shape , I can see mid 80's.

I dove at devil's den last year. a solo diver came up out of the water and removed her mask. she had the sweetest wrinkled apple face. she grinned at me as said ' keep diving honey I'm 82 and I hope to dive when I'm 100' I was so impressed... she looked great in her neoprene head to toe
God is good, no matter what!!

65 and did 130+ dives this year. many were deep dives. All on air. Dive your brains out my friend dive your brains out! It keeps you young. Must be the hyperbaric thing.

Boy if I have to quit diving in 3 years my wife is really going to be P*%#$d at me for all the gear I recently bought.

Seriously, my goal is 75. Anything beyond that is gravy.

75? As that Startrek guy on Priceline says: "Wuss". Most of the 70 -75 year olds I know do better in the Bush and in the water than the 40 year olds.

Pick 90 and, as he says, now you'r talking.

Well, since the life expectancy for men is 72, I think that anything past 75 is gravy. However, ask me again when I'm 75.

I never said I wanted to stop at 75, I just said that's where I want to get to . . . at least. Hence the gravy part.
