How to embed?

How do you embed images into forum posts? I tried the Insert Image button, and tried to link it to an image from Flickr, but after putting the link, I see a broken image icon. Preview shows no image.

use the [img] tags and close with [/img]
So remotes sites may not let you hot-link back to them
Try to manage post
manage attachments
upload from remote site

1. Click on the "Photo Gallery" link at top of page

2. Click on the "Upload" link a few inches down the page.

3. Click the "Browse" button(s) to upload from your computer

4. Provide a title and category

5. Click Submit

Pretty much unlimited.


To embed the newly uploaded image:

1. Copy to clipboard the "Direct Link Code" text.

2. When you create your post, click the Image icon

3. Paste the URL to the text boxt in the dialog box and save
