I recently joined the scubaboard forum and gosh i felt lost...i was way overwhelmed when i went in to check new posts and there were SEVERAL hundred...i'm glad i have ST forum....feels like home...i'll compare it to living in a little city to living in a big metropolis...both have their advantages....but i'm a ST addict.....

Another comparison to the big city vs small town. People are generally more friendly in the small town. Thats what I like about ST. People are so much more friendly.

Yeah, I'm in both Scubaboard and ST... but frankly, I "hang out" here a lot more

Go to your user control panel and block all the forums that you don't want to be listed in the "new posts" at SB. I have it down to about 5 pages of new posts per day. If I really wanted to I could probably go even further than that but you never know when you might have a new dive buddy post in the intro forum.

I've got some forums blocked just to reduce the garbage.


You can also "block threads" on Scubaboard and they won't show in new posts.

For example, if you don't want the MOF threads, you can block them.
