I've been diving solo a lot lately, too. It has advantages.
Don't get me wrong, for a blue water dive I'd vastly prefer a dive buddy, and if the vis were better it would be fun to have someone else to explore with, but for the relatively shallow (<30 feet), limited visibility, spur of the moment diving that I do now solo is the way to go. |
