They ain't imaginary!!! I've seen 'em. The dive hole operator who isn't going to let you dive solo without a card. Not that I blame them, insurance reasons alone suffice.

Yeah dive in Florida, they want to frisk ya! lol We tried to get away with all kinds of stuff there. They are nutty for certs there. However, they have a ton of fatalities yearly.
