OK, so those two things don't really go together, just humor me here....

Any recommendations, or NOT recommendations, for the budget motel's there.... like Lehns, West Plaza's, and Guest Lodge.

I stay at the West Plaza Malakal. I know people who have stayed at the Guest House....it is very basic....I have also stayed at PPR, Sunrise and Carolines.

Thanks, I don't really mind basic since I'll be out on a boat pretty much all day. My day will probably look like; dive, grab some dinner, go to sleep, rinse, repeat. Just need a quiet room & a comfy bed.

I second West Plaza Malakal. I was just there for a second time in Feb.The room is basic with 2 double beds, refrigerator and has a tub to rinse your gear. You can walk to good restaurants (Kramers(tuesday is spagetti nite).

There is a small store directly across the street if you want to buy some snacks etc. It is within walking distance to both Neco and Sam's. It works
