Actually, we were thinking about you SS.

Hope you get to head home soon. But then again, still in Guam isn't a bad thing in itself!

Happy Anniversary too!

Why must you tease me? You know I havent time. I couldnt even get on the boats Sunday here, no room. They have a 2 tank boat dive for 25 dollars every weekend, so as you would imagine it fills up fast and they just couldn't accomidate me.
I will be working till Saturday morning then home..
I must return to get to Palau, that's all divers here talk about!

Thanks for he well wishes.. oh by the way there is a tropical storm here, steady rain last 12 hours, prob will last another 24 or so.

You can't always trust Travelnsj, but this time I will corroborate his statements. You will NOT be disappointed in Palau.

Home now... and it looks like I will take the job offer in Guam.It is a very good offer.Talking to the wifey, we have a lot to do here, she will stay here until summer when she and the kid will come out, it will be the kid's decision where to finish High School.
We have decided long ago we will end up living near the ocean. It calls to me, it has always been that way. After a couple trips to the Carribean Wife feels the same way.
Things happen for a reason, quite a few things have happened in our lives, personal and professional and all lead twards this move.
Not kidding ourselves how tough the seperation will be. The plan always have been to move somewhere by ocean and warm all year round, this is just happening a little earlier than planned.
So this isn't goodbye, there is internet there, Look forward to some dive reports from the area.
I will continue my training and work twards divemaster at least, short trips to some of best diving in world, and tons of wrecks to explore locally.
I will be kept busy, when not working, diving and helping boss to restore his 40 foot ketch he rescued from a reef after a storm.

So that's that.

I think it's a good choice. And you are tons closer to some outstanding diving.

Good luck.

The hardest thing to do is typically making the decision - it's done now. I bet you have some relief in that. Sounds like you are ready to move forward....good luck and in case it matters I think it's a good decision. You never want to look back some day with the "should of's or could of's".
