Neptune Memorial Reef

Has anyone been to this location?
www.nmreef.com

Granted at first to me the idea of diving around an underwater cemetary was creepy when I first heard about it, but looking at the man made reef that was created on the site it looks pretty cool and the concept is awesome.

I posed the idea to my wife of being underwater together for all eternity and it did not go over well. On a positive note, most all of the spots are still available if anyone is interested!

I think it is a cool idea, although maybe not the best for the family if they are non-divers, hard to visit your loved ones

We also thought it would be neat to check it out. We'll have to do that some time...

It looks really cool, i definitely will be hitting the spot sometime this summer. COuld be kinda weird if people are dumping ashes above you when your diving though

I could see where it might be creepy but imagine a 1000 or so years from now people will be claiming it is a sign of Atlantis.

the ashes are actually mixed into the concrete used to make certain pieces... and then there will be a plaque added.
