How's Key Largo in Nov/Dec?

How's the diving in Key Largo in November and December? I'd like to go down for a week and pick up my AOW and do a few more dives but just wondering what the conditions are like in winter.

Nov. warmer with Dec. occasionally cool fronts esp. week before christmas in past (cool fronts = wind & waves & less vis. usually) . Water temp. drops off more Dec. & Jan.

It's horrible down there! Nothing but big empty boats all to ourselves, no rush to get back for the afternoon trip, lot's of great offers to entice you to dive nice cooler water. STAY AWAY!

Finally cool enough I can dive dry and not have to get salt water on me...thank goodness!

I hate summer ocean diving!

I dove Key Largo Dec 28 - 30, 2008. Log book says air temp was 81 - 83, and water temp at the surface was 77. Seas were 2 to 3 feet on most dives. Vis ranged from 40 feet on the deep wrecks (Duane and Spiegel Grove) to 60+ on the shallow reefs and the Benwood.

Always love the keys, and dive with Scuba-do when I'm there. As others have said, albeit tongue in cheek, this is the slow season, so the boats are spacious and the captains are extremely flexible.
