I'm in Tampa, about 30 miles north of Brandenton. Charters I'm not too sure about but I can give you al ist of great dive shops in the Tampa/Brandon area, Brandon being closer than Bradenton since your location isn't in Florida.

I shouldn't ask but, I gotta ask: Why are you Ohio Diver16 when you live in FL? I think Florida_Diver16's still open...

What exactly are you looking to do? Looking to dive reefs, ledges, search for shark teeth, wrecks or maybe some spearfishing.

A little bit of everything. Going to be there w/the Frau for a couple of days and figure that we can get in a couple of boat dives in the mornings and some shore dives in the afternoon.

Wrecks, teeth & wild life would be good.

For teeth there is no one better than Jamie with the "Aristakat". His link is below. He is fair with price and always puts you on teeth.

As for spearfishing there are spots that can be accessed from shore that have always produced fish. There is also a good shore dive in Bradenton to some ledges & reefs. Lots of life at this one. When your in town let me know and I can get you more info even dive with you.
