I'm guessing this is what you are referring to:

> Texas Underwater Park

THere was a really good site that I found once about that park it is Texas Underwater Park. I can not seem to find the page again. I wish I had saved it to my favorites.

American Diving has had a few pages up in the past of the Underwater Park. Their new page, divesouthpadre, does not seem to be as informative as in the past. It's possible the old page is still up, however.

Really, last time I was there, they were really the only game in town. Capt. Tim is a bit gruff, but seems to really spearhead the scuba in S. Padre...and he does a good sunset dolphin cruise as well.

American Diving is the only game in South Padre. They would have the best info on what you are looking for. Give them a call.

Diving South Padre Island / SPI

Every July I visit South Padre Island for an annual family vacation, every year I contemplate diving the Texas coast, every year I spend too much time on the beach with my family, and every year I regret not taking the time for the dives. I never pass on a dive opportunity, but SPI is different because no other divers are on vacation with me. I would like to see photos and hear stories of these dives, so I can plan which of the multiple dives to take next July - guess I will have to bring a dive buddy on my next family vacation.

I did not know that there was a wreck at Padre, I have been there many times to visit family and never actually got out and dove.

Actually not a wreck, she was intentionally sunk to form a reef... And it's relatively new... just about a year ago she was sunk...
