Mr. Chairman, Madam Speaker, I rise on a number of points of order and ask for clarification.

If, heaven forfend, this thread should appear to die, after what point is it dead and buried? We have a number of member representing various branches of the Medical profession. Are they qualified to declare this thread dead? How will this esteemed assembly be notified of the official death?

Further, in another area we had a thread resurected from the dead after about 2 years. If, by some miracle, this thread, after having been declared dead, should be resurrected at a later time, will that be considered a continuation of the current thread or a new thread, cloned from the remains of this one?

And now, back to the regularly scheduled mayhem and debauchery we see here.
