Thumbs up The Blue Hole...on a single breath!

Well, I believe that many of you have heard of the famous Blue Hole, in Dahab, Egypt. The Arch is know for being also one of the deadliest spots for divers, claimed the lives of more then 70 divers. The ache is located at a depth of 180 ft (55m) and is long 100 ft (30m).

While I was browsing Youtube I stumbled across some amazing videos that I'd like to share with you.

The first one features a cheap diver who decided to save some money and uses only wetsuit, mask and fins.

WOW!

The next video features a diver much cheaper then even the previous one! He doesn't even have wetsuit or fins! (Larry do something for this poor guy )

WOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!!!

There's been a research on the reasons for all those dead accidents there. In a nutshell, most of the diver involved in those accidents were on air and single tank. As stated in my earlier post the depths are beyond the recreational limits, and require mixed breathing gas or at least double tanks.

Here is the site of the Blue Hole Project from which you can get more info.

The guy got narced. Read the site of the Blue Hole Project. It explains well what to do in order to have a safe dive at that location.
