Pics from last nights night dive

This was the wife and I's first night dive ever. It was a little spooky, and I'm definitely working on my night time photography skills. I'll have it worked out with a little practice though. Enjoy the pics!

This was my wife feeding a HUGE catfish! I've never seen one quite that big. Evidentially, the bigger ones come out at night to feed.

This one was her trying to get her new long reg hose out from under a rock. I don't know how she got it jammed in there, but I got it all straightened out. It was a bit stressful.

This is a very cool wall we found at about 60 ft. Notice the sheer row of rock ledges descending all the way to the bottom. It was pretty cool.

This is the only other pic that came out half way discernible. We were hovering right above a huge crevice, and it looked totally bottomless. That was a bit freaky for me.

I'll get some better pics next time. I'm saving up for a flash for my camera. I think it'll help a lot.

hmm I am not seeing anything other than black boxes. Now I know this is a nite dive but honestly. Can anyone else see anything or is it a browser issue on my end.

What browser are you using? Does it have all the current updates installed? Try turning up the brightness control on your monitor. The pics are a little dim, so that could be the problem.

Thanks! yeah, I still need a bit pf practice on buoyancy, but I'm learning. We're going again Thursday night, and I think I'm going to buy us a couple of dive lights. They say those really help.

It's a DX5000 with the optional titanium retainer clip and the magnaview reflector, but I can't find the right battery for it. Any idea where I could pick one up reasonably?

Dive lights are for pansies. Real men don't need dive lights. All those DIR guys with 50watt HIDs are just scared to dive in the dark.
