The ancient Hebrew language had no numbering system. Therefore, Hebrew letters were used to represent numbers. Thus, the letters representing the words "Caesar Nero Augustus" in Hebrew is the same combination of characters that is "666". The Beast in the "Mark of the Beast" is Nero. And, course, the Beast was conquered and Rome (referred to as Babylon in the book of Revelation) was destroyed.
