6 June 1944 - D-Day
Sixty-four years ago on this day, the largest armada of men and machines in modern warfare, stormed the beaches of Normandy, France to liberate Europe from tyranny.
A few years ago, on a gray, dismal morning, I walked those beaches and prayed at the graves over-looking them. Let us pause to remember and honor those soldiers...
