Question Test Question

THREAD OVER. See below
Read this question, come up with an answer, and I'll post the answer in a day or two. This is not a trick question. It is as it reads. So far, no one I know has gotten it right.

While at the funeral of her own mother, a woman met a man whom she did not know. She thought this guy was amazing. She believed him to be her dream man so much that she fell in love with him right there, but never asked for his number and could not find him. A few days later she killed her sister.

Question: What was her motive for killing her sister?

Maybe so she can have another funeral in which her "dream" guy would attend so she could get his name and number.

AH, Verc! We definitely have to dive together next time you’re out here!

If I recall, the question was one developed by one of the first criminal profilers. The idea was to gain insight into the mind of a murderer. The story went that this profiler asked the question of a number of serial killers and got the same answer.

The idea is that if the “patient” responds with “So that she can ask the man this time for his number when he goes to her sister's funeral!” it indicates that the person is a psychopath without any feelings of remorse.

If this idea never occurs to you, you may not be the psychopath those around you think you are.

Unfortunately, I don’t remember there being any provisions for anyone who would say “Perhaps she thought she could ask the man this time for his number when he goes to her sister's funeral! Although that would mean she hadn’t considered that murdering her sister was bad or that she might get caught and spend the rest of her life in prison away from this stranger.”

Now, Verc, ya gotta ask yerself: Self! Did this guy learn this in Psych Class as he claims or did he really come up with that answer by himself and hide it in a post full of psychobabble? (Vincent Price’s evil laugh echoing in the background)

Cheers!

I'll take a shot.... She wanted to meet the grave digger again?
