Pretty simple concept: post a picture a day.

-Pictures need to be yours, don't go google a picture to post.
-Pictures need to not contain anything obscene that would go against board rules
-Please host them somewhere and either link here to a decent sized version, or downsize before you upload. Don't post anything that we have to scroll sideways to view.
-Try to keep chatting to a minimum. This is mainly a thread for photographers to post up one picture a day. You can leave comments, but...a picture is worth a thousand words! (just only one per person per day!)
-Post info with picture, such as
Camera:
ISO:
Aperture:
Lens:
Location:
Date:
Editing done:

Just remember, ONE A DAY! It's not a thread for you to showcase every shot from the past week, unless you want to do it slowly, posting one picture a day. I'm just saying this alot because alot of people want to post two a day, or three a day, and it's the picture (notice the lack of an 's') of the day thread, not the two pictures of the day thread.

note: to show pictures here, you can right click on the hosted file, and select "copy image location." In the thread here, paste that and surround it with image tags, "" Tags are in quotations because the forum tries to display an image otherwise Remove the quotes when you post your image. If you use the picture button at the top of your post, when you are posting, you can specify size, this is what you want to use if the image is very lage, so you can tell it to display it at a smaller size.

Hosts: There are many places that will host your pictures. I have had decent luck with www.imageshack.us, but it takes a while and doesn't always work. I use Flickr now. Takes just a few minutes to set up, and it's completely free. Other hosts are pbase.com, photobucket.com, smugmug.com, etc.

Jason,

Do you have any data to go with the shot? The photographer part of me wants to know camera, ISO, lens, exposure, etc, but I think most people would behappy with a date and a location.

Nice shot though, btw!

Hey...I dove Table Rock about a month ago while on vacation. It was a neat dive (poverty point or something like that), but it was cool. No...it was FREAKING FREEZING!!! At 80', one of the computers in our group registered 48 degrees!!! We were in 3 mil suits!

Taken with a Canon Powershot A630. No zoom used, he really swam that close. Mermet Springs in Southern Illinois.

Alright! You guys seem to get the general idea

So how about pictures from land? Do we have any photographers on here who can't afford the Ikelite case? [img]smileys/smiley19.gif[/img]
