July 4 weekend plans?

I'm helping do a fireworks show for a small lake side community called Twin Lake in West MI on the Fourth. Then the next day I'm doing a small family show, so it is going to be a loud weekend for me.

Working at a boy scout fireworks stand on the 4th.

We were going to sit on our porch and watch the fireworks show in the park next door, but the fireworks were cancelled due to all the Cali fires (which I agree is a good idea). So, we are just going to hang out and BBQ.
The rest of the weekend we have to get busywork done because it's our last free weekend for at least 6 weeks.

We're camping and diving. Hopefully we'll see some fireworks somewhere along the way

We are off to Fort Laud for a visit with friends and some warm water diving!

Key West bud rolled in. Played hookie today the 3rd. Got 2 dives in.
Tomorrow the 4th, party at a friend's who lives on a municipal golf course where the town does a fire works display.
Saturday the 5th recharge during the day then: Square Grouper - Tiki Bar at Castaway's Marina - Jupiter, FL
Sunday the 6th make seafood chowder and fish fry. Then kick back with some friends.

parents are coming in to town, going to do a bit of BBQ'ing and a little drinking and hanging out by the pool

rented a couple of tanks to play in the pool with to get my wife more comfortable in her new Zena BC - only thing is - it does get boring in our small deep end at 7/8 feet

Went diveing today! The Black Bart, and then came up inside thr bay and did the Spanish Shanty. Both Photo dives. ie no spearing. Great fun and as always lots to see an a few good pohtos.

The rest of the weekend we'll stay off the water and away from the beaches.. I'm a native and know whene to stay home.
