I misread your question!!! I thought you wanted to know how it turned out. I have edited my above post to avoid spoiling it for anyone.
By the way, I dove with the Brigade again last night. That thing is AWESOME. I'm taking the Nitrox class Tuesday. |

Speaking of new equipment, if I get some equipment and just need to check it out in the salt water, do you think I could talk your friend at Discovery into going to Radio Island w me to check it out? Otherwise I may be going to T and C with equipment I haven't used. Don't want to go on a group dive there...just get the equipment wet and see how it feels.

There will probably be a lot of people there, if you dive at high slack tide.
Basically, you want to start your dive just before the tide stops coming in. Drop in over the rocks, and head to the bottom (about 35'). Let the current take you towards Beaufort. By the time you hit your turn pressure, the tide should be heading back out, and you can ride the current back to your entry point. We can usually get about an hour of dive time at Radio Island. Just don't expect the visibility to be good. A really good day at Radio Island is 10 feet. |
