A little victory dance is in order!

I don't know where to start, and I'm going to try to paraphrase this as much as possible. I'm so happy right now I can hardly even type.

First of all, I must show my sincere appreciation to all of my brothers and sisters here who have supported me in one of the hardest times in my life. I owe each and every one of you a visit, dinner, tank fills, and a dive or two. I mean that seriously too.

It would take pages of words to tell the whole story, but to make it short and sweet I'll post the main details, and what really mattered in the end.

The "ex" wanted $765.00 per month in child support, sole legal custody of the kids with me having "visitation" rights in the form of "supervised" visitation.

I just happened to have all my ducks in a row, and the legal representation of one of the most respected attorneys in this county, and oddly enough, her attorney didn't even show up. He was tied up in some bankruptcy case or something. damn the luck...........

Bottom line, I won the case!!! Yippppeeeee! I got 50/50 legal and physical custody, ZERO child support, and right now I'm hanging out with my little girls in OUR HOME for the first time in over two weeks. The divorce papers are signed, and should be signed off by the judge in a few days.

If any of you are drinking tonight, I want a HUGE toast made to me and my little girls. None of you realize how your support gave me the balls to stand in front of that judge this morning, and tell the truth. Sometimes, the truth does prevail.

Mark, that's great that a bad situation worked out for you, and especially for your daughters! Remember not to trash talk about your wife ... your daughters are probably concerned and worried about the sudden change in the relationship, and who knows what your wife is telling them. Stay on the high road .... Congrats again.

WTG! I don't know about anyone elses situtation, but I grew up with out a dad. Watching my husband and his daughter I realized what I had missed out on.
Dad's do play a very major role in the development of little girls.
