what makes your day?

i am a t.a. working on my d.m. i have found out to my dismay that when i'm asked to help with a o.w. class i get all gitty about the weekend's that i get to help the students get there o.w. cert. i truly love this hobby. the students ask about the dive trips i've been on and i get to repeat the trip in my mind for them,or walk them through something that they don't quite get. when they get the wide eyed look and are happy with themselves when they get there buoyancy or can take there mask off without losing it. i can think of hundreds of other reasons to love this hobby, what are yours? oh yeah sharks and eaglerays are way cool to.

Everyone brings something to a class that determines whether they (and the students) will enjoy the experience of dive training.

Your post here--to me--is an excellent example of what makes for a good TA, DM and even Instructor; delight and enthusiasm for the sport and passing that onward to the class.

Back to your original of "what makes my day?"--actively setting the stage so that everyone has a successful learning experience that they talk about later to others with delight.

Anytime I get to spend in the water with my dive buddy makes my day on the diving end of it. But what really really makes my day is every morning hraring my yongest son yelling out "DADDY" from his crib because he is ready to get up for the day I won't get him until he does I just love it.
