I've had two sons in the national gaurd. They are both out now but I always think about the veteran and they're family's and what they all had to go thought before you could just pick up a phone and call anywhere. Waiting weeks or months before you could talk to them. It had to be really hard on family's to be seperated like that.

This thread should be for EVERYONE in the US.

You might not be a member of the US Military,
You might not agree with decisions made by our government about the Military,
You might not agree with the Iraq War, or other Military actions, past and current,
You might not even know why Today is Veterans day,

But you should always support our Troops and Veterans, and their families, for the sacrifices they have made to ensure Freedom.

Because Freedom isn't Free.

It's paid for with the blood of our fallen Soldiers, Marines, Airmen and Sailors

I spent ten years in the Army and got out due to being hurt in Iraq and I thank you all for your support to the troops who are in and the ones who are out. The military was also alot of fun but now I am doing the funnest thing ever as a hobby. DIVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
