Holy Snow!

So the mighty mid-west is being hammered by a major snow storm right now. I just got into work a bit ago (a 20 minute trip took me 83 minutes) and was wondering if anyone else on this board is getting blasted. I was hit with near white out conditions driving into Bay City, Michigan today. Needless to say it SUCKS.

Yeah, gotta love living in the midwest. Thank goodness I'm leaving on Sunday for the Bahamas. Can't wait to get out of this mess, providing I do get out of here.

We got a couple of inches of snow which is no big deal. Last night we got freezing rain which totaled about 1/8 to 1/4 inch - I hate ICE!!!

I am a teacher and we just got let out (10:30) we are going to get about 10 inches in a 5 hour duration. looks like its a night in! Have a great night.

Wow, that's a whole lot of snow. My wife is a teacher and at least she was able to sleep in this morning as they cancelled school. Lucky her.

Its 80 degrees in florida now but I wish we had some snow so I could have a day off like my work offices up north.

No thanks..I'll trade a day of work for the pain of getting snowed in anytime. Pretty enough, but I prefer the snow to stay in the mountains and fill our reservoirs for diving in the summertime.

Yep, here of course.... boss just told us we can go home 3 hrs early to get a start on the long traffic drive home. Where I can start shoveling out the driveway...arrgh!

That's exactly what I'm predicting will happen to us too bassplayer. It doesn't really make you feel any better to be going home earlier.
