I don't view porno...period. I find it foul. I do not support the argument that that porno is protected First Amendment speech.

To me, the more important issue: the government should not decide what I can or cannot view. So long as I do NOT injure others nor violate their rights with my actions, the people (through its representative, the government) have no say in my actions.

Concerning COPA, there was no way to enforce it, because it was too broad in scope. For instance, if enforced, web-sites which discussed breast cancer would be in violation.

Best news I have heard in a while.... Freedom of speech and expression is one of the greatest rights we have as a country. Whether or not you agree with what is being expressed, certainly you can agree with a person's right to say it.

Every now and again the Supreme Court reminds me why this is a pretty darned good country.

It's a shame the legislators who create these retarded lowest-common-denominator laws in the first place continue to do their best to make me forget.

I'm all for keeping children away from objectionable materials, but I happen to think that's the parent's responsibility... the internet is a grown up world, and what consenting adults choose to do to each other is their own business.
