Hockey, anyone?

Just wondering if there are any other scuba-diving hockey fans out there...
Seems like an add match up, but I just recently got into hockey and find that its a great way to pass the time between dive trips!

If you're a fan, let us know your favorite team and player.

Mine:
Washington Capitals C-A-P-S Caps Caps Caps!

Mike Green is my favorite player - he's an awesome offensive defenseman, and is great to his fans. Signed my pink puck for me!
Plus he is really hot... for a Canadian

Huge Caps fan here. Good to see them with so much talent and playing a high intensity offensive game. Those years of playing a defensive style game and slowing everything down made for some boring hockey. The Caps are a young team with some amazing talent.

Green is going to be a great D man. He leads the league in goals by a D man and he's only 23. He should have been in the all star game. Semin is so much fun to watch. He may have the best hands and stick work of anyone in the game today. Now we just need a goalie that can keep them in every game.

I also play in a local adult league.

Wings fan here. HUGE wings fan. Camarochick, how can you not love Ovechkin? He's freaking amazing.

Btw, Yzerman > Gretzky, Dog poop in a box > Crosby

Have to disagree with you on Yzerman/Gretzky but your right on with Crosby. That boy is one huge &*^*. When the Caps played them it was great watching Ovechkin line him up.

Bruins for me, and I still wear Ray "Papa Bear" Borque's #77 Jersey in his post-retirement years. As for those currently on the team, I'm really impressed with Savard and Krejci.

Gotta stick with the wings. I used to love Bob Probert. If there was going to be a fight he was going to be in it. if not he would start one. My son just started playing hockey. I figured why not and started trying to skate. Until I saw an old guy fall and break his hip. My skates are hung up for now.

Pittsburgh Penguins

Evgeni Malkin is my favorite player, but (I'll get shot for this by other Pens fans) Jaromir Jagr used to be my favorite player when he was on the Pens, and still kinda is

I'm originally from WV, so hockey for us was scooting around a frozen pond in our boots while hitting a frozen cow turd with a stick. It was fun. I never got into the TV version.
