Fun with numbers 2
Ok, I'm bored . . . . again.
So I thought I'd do a little analysis of the member list similar to what I did about a year ago (maybe Fedb is just a boring month). At the time I'm writing this there are 12554 members that have signed up on the board. Of those, only 3395 have made at least 1 post. So about 73% of people that have signed up, have never made a post. So I guess they are only in it for the 10% discount. Other interesting (Or not) info: There are 737 with only 1 post 5.87% There are 1850 with less than 10 posts 14.73% There are 2 Grand Master Spammers 0.016% There are 5 Sharks 0.04% There are 30 Barracuda 0.239% There are 273 Grouper 2.175% 310 have enough post for the $50 GC 2.469% There is a rule of thumb that says 80% of something will be accomplished by 20% of the participants. If you throw out all those that have never made a post then look at the ones who have made at least 1 post then for the forum: There are at the time I wrote this 266250 post. 26650 x80% = 213000 post The top 766 posters posted 212997 post. So 80% of the post were made by 22.56% of the participants. Looks like we fall pretty close to the norm. Like I said.............I'm a little bored. For those who are just as bored as me, you can look at the numbers from last year here.

Fun with numbers....
ok... if you're bored, this should occupy your time for a little bit. What's the next logical number in the below sequence? (yes there is an answer). 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 20 22 24 31 100 121 ____ <---- Next number? |

I'd say you were really bored but then I'm a statistical analyst so I guess I can't. Nice work using the Pareto principle though.
