Go Heels, being a Kansas Fan, Carolina has a spot in my heart since Roy left us - anyway, good for him.

March Madness....Here we come!!!!!!!

Yeah, thanks for letting us have Roy. He has done a great job.

Can't wait for the tourney. MSilvia doesn't understand why we are so into college ball, but last night they were showing stats on how often the championship lands right here in the Triangle. Crazy.

Plus, I went to school with Michael et al.

I'm a nut.

Oh, so you were there when UNC knocked off Georgetown. That was a heartbreaker for us here in the D.C. area. Great game though that some freshman made the game winning jump shot. Wasn't that freshman some guy named Michael?

I didn't get there until 1983 hychang. I wish I had been there the year prior though, that was a crazy good team in 1982. I did get to enjoy the remnants for one year and then they were gone.

It is interesting, when you look at all time greats for bball, Michael doesn't rank all that high compared to some of the others. Probably only because he wasn't there for 4 years so the stats aren't going to rival others.

Yes, your Heels were just awesome during that time (of course when haven't the Heels been awesome?). There was also a guy who'd later play for the Lakers on their great teams that wasn't too bad. Wasn't his name James Worthy? I remember watching the ACC games here in the D.C. area on Saturday afternoons on the old Jefferson Pilot network. Ahhh, the good ole days when the ACC was the ACC (without Va. Tech, Miami, FSU, BC)!!

It's hard to own school records only playing two years. Just imagine what the records would've been had Michael stayed and played all four years!!

I grew up an NC State fan of all things. I went to UNC feeling like I was compromising. I missed James Worthy, just before my time. But that team was amazing. I love that so many of those guys were home grown southern boys!!!!

I wonder how Michael would have stacked up. The legacy was a big one at UNC. Billy Cunningham was something to behold apparently. He was doing his thing when I entered this world.

I too miss the real ACC. It was one thing when Miami and FSU joined up, but BOSTON? Weird.

Yep, right here in the heart of MO and I'm a Kansas Fan. Tuesday really sucked going to work after the lose Monday night. But, I've had more braggin days then them darn Missouri Fans.

Actually, I became a Kansas Fan because the Missouri games were typically blacked out in my area, but the Kansas game was always on. I started watching them years ago and never stopped.

Being a college B-Ball fan it really sucks when Freshman and Sophomores go to the draft. Last year we lost our entire starting line-up to the pro's. Can't blame them, but sure wish we had them back this year - another title?
