Huge Barracuda sighting

So, how big do these things actually get? I'd heard around 6 ft. max.
I hurriedly swam toward this one so my buddy could get a pic (I knew it was larger than average), and I swear it had to be at least a 14-16 footer. Yes, I peed my suit on this one. Was it not a cuda? WTF?

The "Great Cuders" can take you completely. The old timers strap a 2 X 4 across their buttocks to avoid catastrophe.

I've heard of "other" uses for the 2X4's. but yeah, that makes sense now.

I have to say it... that pic looks photochopped. If not that has to be some kind of reference/distortion issue. Cudas larger than 10' have never been proven to exist and while I suspect there are probably some 8' cudas around anything in the 10' plus is highly unlikely. To my knowledge, the largest ever caught was under 6'.

The big ones like to come close & circle you while showing their teeth. Funny how they act.

Why is there a white outline around the diver?
