Anyone going to Buffett this summer??
We just got our tickets to the annual Jimmy Buffett concert - going to the Thu show at Nissan Pav in VA. The Labor Day weekend show!
 Anyone else going to see him this summer?

But....
Do you have your hush puppies on????  I'd love to go to one of his concerts, but there's none within 400 miles.

We drove from KC to St. Louis to see him last year and it was a fabulous time. Would do it again given the opportunity so we were pretty disappointed to see no St. Louis date on this year's tour. There are some gaps in the schedule so fingers are crossed that they'll add one. If so...road trip!

I don't want this to be hijacked into a "I saw Buffett in..." thread, but I'm planning to see him as soon as he gets in driving distance again.
Hurricane Ike damaged the local venue (Cynthia Mitchell Woods Pavilion) which is close enough to ride my bike to...in fact, Buffett took his bike through my neighborhood before a concert some years ago. Anyway...I wish I had an excuse to be in your neck of the woods....(note: my 16yr. old son likes your screen name. He is "TransAmDiver" on Xbox Live. He loves muscle cars and diving. He does not love Buffett (more of a Metallica fan, but I like them too.) |
