I wish everyone a safe journey this next week on their holiday getaways. I saw a really nasty wreck on my way to work today. 7 cars and 9 deaths details on that here.

Drive safe wear your seat belts and look out for others.

Absolutely! Thanks for the PSA neo!

I'm sure that looking at it while driving by was very sobering and more than a little disturbing.

Thanks for the reality check......

Remember, do you really need to be somewhere that fast? Do you really need to return that text message, now? Get up a little earlier to put on that make-up!

Myself and family appreciates you being a safe driver.

My wife and I would also appreciate it if you kept your eyes open for those of us riding our motorcycles. We don't tend to appreciate people merging into us, cutting us off and pulling in front of us with only 20 feet to spare. Remember: we can be on your door twice as fast as you might expect.

Most people think I'm kidding when I reply to "How was your drive" with "Oh, I only had X people try to kill me."

Thank you!

Many many moons ago (slang for darn I am getting old) I sat in traffic for 5 hours at a complete stop, I was soooo mad at whoever cause that wreck I was cursing them up and down, when I finally got out of the traffic jam and started my way home, on the side of the road, i saw 6 bodies coved up with sheets... Now I felt really bad, as everyone that was in the wreck died. That was the LAST day that I ever exceeded the speed limit more then 5 mph over. That was 14 years ago, and not a day that goes by that I see some moron driving at more then 10 to 15 over, that I do not think about that day. My motto is, I will get there when I get there, a lot of my friends say that I am on "Greek" time, as I could care less what time I get there, as long as I get there. If I do not leave with enough time to get to work, or the airport, or wherever, I call ahead and make new plans or let someone know that I am running late. I look at it like this, isn't you life worth more that your job....? So who cares if you get fired for being 8 minutes late I think being able to still breath the same air that the rest of humanity breaths is better then ANY job.... it is worth more the ANY plane ticket costs, it is worth more anything to me. And just for a little math for you all... If the speed limit is say 60mph.. and you are 10 minutes late, and have to travel 10 miles. Effectively you will have to DOUBLE your speed to get there 5 minutes late, so if your car can handle 120 mph, do you think that you can??? is it worth getting killed over, or going to jail over? To get to work ontime... you would have to do 4 times the normal speed.... and IF your car can do 240mph... then who cares if you are late... you are rich... this is just the way that I look at it.
