Wouldn't this be a scary snorkeling experience?

But it's not really an "experience" at all. More of a scary snorkeling thought.

Scuba divers have no problem with sharks, since they see us as another fish in the sea, as long as we appear healthy, they will leave us alone!
Snorkelers, however, look like seals; a sharks favorite meal!

When I was on the Aggressor in the Cayman's this last January, we did night dives almost every night. One night, my buddy and I swam over to a wall (that dropped off to who knows where) and were looking into crevices and such. All of a sudden I thought "wonder if there is anything below us?" and occasionally swept my flashlight down. Sure enough, on one sweep, there's a shark which of course my shark loving buddy had to go down to investigate and then chase up to me (thanks!) Luckily, it was just a nurse and we followed it until it left us in it's wake with a flip of a tail.

Dagnabbit! It has to be bovine? I've been using horse urine for years, and you tell me I've been wasting my money?
Check the small print, I'm not giving you a refund.

But ah, hey, got any deer smear?
No need for a refund - there's a bunch of college kids around here, so I'll just sell it to them as beer and make a profit.

As for the deer schmear, I called the local bagel place and they're all out...

Ever had Dead Sea salmon... It's like god's own salmon flavored salt... Oohh oohhhhh... yeah.

But if you haven't had venison, you ain't lived. Well, you haven't lived good. And not this sage soaked deer out here.

so we were snorkelling a bit near the rocks looking for abalone. the water had a strange wishy washy movement with little soda air bubbles (verycool). and you could feel the surge as you snorkelled and ocasionally tried to dive deeper to see the abalone.

But the SCARY PART was that about 30 metres out your vision was all blue. that means you can't see beyond that!!!!!

if a BIG SHARK zoomed in you wouldn't have time to do anything one CHOMP!!! and that's IT!!!!

so i was pretty scared. (also i am short sighted. do diving masks come with prescription lenses? its a shame everything was blurry).

isn't anyone else scared of HUGE SHARKS ZOOMING IN?
I try not and think about that my first dive off of a boat which was apart of my class dive. I got scared. Cause the visibility was only 20 feet and all I could see was murky waters and I thought when am I going to get to the surface? Once I did hit surface which felt like I was in a fog. You couldn't see Once I was on the surface ooooh and aaaaad about all the fish I saw down there and plants growing on an artificial reef. Which was a sunken boat. And that was neat. And the barracuda I saw
