I don't exactly paintball...but I can't afford scuba much less something else! I'm a bit of a princess about this but, I don't want anyone shooting at me! Paintballs or anything else for that matter! Sorry, I'm a wuss!

Many of us here are burdened with more than one expensive hobby. For me, it's diving, photography, and Harleys. I'm not saying I'm poor.... but I do eat alot of spaghetti.

I have two pretty expensive hobbies and not enough time to do them. I own and fly a Cessna 150 and dive. To be honest I spend more on diving than I do flying, but when you spend money on the plane it gets expensive very fast. I might fly today because my buddy cancelled our dive plans, so I kind of have a fallback.

Well, I've wanted to get into paintballing for quite some time, I feel that scuba divers are the type of PB player you want to play with... we are usually mellow! I don't have that kind of $$ to drop on the gear, so I doubt I'll do it anytime soon! Although, I do have 2 guns sitting in my closet right now, but they don't belong to me! Oh the thrill I would get out of shooting my brother-in-law in the legs with these... hmmm, NO, stop making me think these thoughts! I must leave this thread now!

I do both. It does get pretty expensive. The difference is that you can play paintball locally. Once you have your equipment, it is just entry fees and paint. Diving means plane trips, dive ops, hotels, beer, tips, more beer. I can play paintball two or three times a month though, while diving is a three or four time a year (real ocean diving, I don't count lakes, although I do dive them).

I love playing paintball. But Scuba is an expensive mistress. So I just rent or borrow gear for the times I play. I don't usually have time to play very often. My free time is limited and is usually geared towards diving.
