iPod Touch = Awesome

Just received my iPod touch today... Wow it's awesome!

I was going to buy an 80gb iPod about 3 years ago, but heard a rumor of a touch screen iPod coming out soon. I knew the wife would frown heavily upon 2 iPod purchases, so I decided to wait.

Glad I did!!

This is going to come in so handy while travelling.

I bought an 80G ipod last year. The touch interests me, but geez, only 16G? I've only filled up about 8G of music and video so far, but there's a big difference between 16 and 80. Does that worry you at all?

I have over 300 gigs of music and video... I'll never fit it onto one device.

16 gigs is plenty to keep me happy for a couple weeks at a time, might need to rotate some stuff out, but I'll always have a core group of files on hand =)

So it's an Iphone with out the phone bit? And the cheap 8gig costs the same amount of money that my 30gig ipod did? And it'll help me spend more money on data plans and low quality music? Meh. I'd rather spend all that money on dive stuff or dive trips.

Brandon, at least you don't have to pay for the data plan that comes with the Iphone! Or do you?

Nope, it uses normal WiFi.
