Halloween Plans

I am just curious what everyone's plans are for Halloween are. I am working a full 16 hour day at work, so I am just going home.

Parties, costumes, trick or treating, what is going on at your house??????

I have a safety class that morning. Will be in it all day. After that I'll just come home and relax with the family. No real plans. We take the kiddos trick or treating after school to the businesses downtown. We don't take them around at night.

I did have a halloween party on Saturday night, but after my dive class, I was worn out and didn't make it. I have another party tomorrow night. Coupled with MNF tonight in the Mile High City, I'm going to be on the couch by Wednesday passing out candy.

I went to a Halloween party on Saturday. A friend has been turning his yard into a haunted walk the last few years. I threw together a Jason Vorhees costume with a little help from a Halloween store and the local Goodwill. Apparently we had some kids crying. The main attraction this year was a makeshift coffin made from plywood with a smoke machine and a strobe light inside so you couldn't see what was going to come out of it. He had a little trap door towards the bottom too for grabbing at peoples feet.

We're having a costume contest at work on Halloween day, so I'll probably wear the Jason outfit one more time. I'll try and remember to post a picture soon.

Dressing the little mutt as Elvis and putting a bandana on the collie (she's waaay too cool for a costume) and we will go out for our usual evening walk.

We have been told that a whole bunch of administrators from around our district will be touring our school all day long on Halloween. How wrong is that?!?!? And the boss is making out as if this is a totally normal or convenient descision. So, there will be no happy halloween shenanigans at work this year. The students have never been allowed to wear costumes but the teachers would still decorate and find ways to make it fun.
