Looks like the Sooners are going to win the Big XII. With WV also loosing that makes the BCS a mess. No matter who plays in the Championship game, can you honestly say they will be the best 2 teams.

The BCS is pure insanity, tommorow is gonna be nuts. They should just put names in a hat and see who's gonna play who.

i have no idea who the 2 best teams are anymore. mass confusion in the BCS. looks like ohio state will be #1, but who else will play in the NC game? Gerogia? VT?

Since both Missouri and West Virginia lost last night the BCS is in a bigger mess then usual. It screams for a play off system. However, IMHO Ohio State and LSU are the two best teams. I also like USC - but injuries killed there chances. Oregon was looking good till they lost Dixon - at which point they fell apart.

Well OU gets to play WV in the Fiesta Bowl, this should be a very good game. Looks as if LSU and Ohio State end up in championship game. I can't say that I think these are the 2 best teams.

Well, LSU truly deserves to be in the Championship game. They won the toughest conference in America. LSU is 6-1 vs ranked teams included a 48-7 whipping of Va Tech. LSU had more injuries this year then you can imagine and still prevailed. They won the Championship yesterday with their backup QB, without their All-American DT, without their other starting DT and playing a guy in his first game of the season in his place, with 3 RBs hurt, with star WR Early Doucet hurt for much of the game and with star safety Craig Steltz playing hurt.
Of all the top teams, no one and I repeat no one played a tougher schedule. LSU played 9 SEC teams and played 7 ranked opponents.
I dare anyone to argue their team would have faired as well in the SEC or against the same competition week in and week out.
Do you recall what Florida did to OSU last year? Look for the same result this year, the SEC plays with speed and power, OSU is in a conference where power rules. Speed kills and like my old baseball coach used to say, you can have a bad day hitting, you can have a bad day fielding but speed never takes a day off.

I think you are right, the SEC is the toughest conference out there. But the Big 10 is one of the weakest this year. The toughest team Ohio State beat was Michigan. I sure would have liked to see OU and LSU in the championship, I think they are the 2 best teams playing now.

Are you kidding me, LSU deserves it. I don't think anybody deserves it. OU goes in and beats the brakes of #1 Saturday. Don't get me wrong but LSU is a good team, but the SEC is overated every single year, and the rankings are a joke the BCS is a joke. Let's get to a playoff type system, and have some fun in novemeber and december. This season has been fun, but really aggrivating. The biggest joke is Ohio State, how can you get into the big show, and not even have played in month, and played powder puffs all season. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! it's making my head hurt.

Although i do like the WVU vs. OU matchup, my wife is from WV, and some good friends of ours are from WV, so we are already plaaning the Big night.
