… Christmas Carols would be played between Dec 20th and Dec 27th. That’s it. Our favorite radio station has gone to Christmas Carols 24/7 until sometime after Christmas. (I am hunting for a new favorite until then. Or maybe for good!) We went shopping on the weekend and spent a couple of hours in the mall. The Muzac system was playing nothing but Carols. There seem to only be 7 different carols in existence and 35 variations of each does NOT make a playlist. I think that if I worked in one of those malls, I would go Postal within about a day. Sickly sweet, sappy, lyrics played/sung at a funeral dirge pace. And they have been playing since before Hallowe'en!!!!! (Admited, not 24/7 but...)

So, what would you change if you ruled?

John.....you rule! I'm the same way! I can't stand to listen to all of those carols!!!! My husband calls me a grinch...but I can't help it! They drive me nuts!!!!!!! I don't know what else I'd change really if I ruled...but that would be number 1 on my list!

Ahh...how refreashing to hear from a couple of people who share my feelings on this. Don't get me wrong, It's christmas time, I realize that. I wish every single human that walks this earth a happy holidays and a very prosperous new year. However, I mean....Damn, with a month of christmas carols. I'd have a hard time hearing Monster Mash once an hour all of october as well.

oh man, this is my most favorite of favorite of fantasies. hmm, let me see, where do I begin. I dont give a hoot about xmas carols, I guess if they bothered me I could get a private tutor to show me how to work a MP3 player and listen to my own tunes.
Ok, first, cut the traffic in half, how, you ask? well, since I am male, I cant make a law saying men cant drive so the law will have to be, Women cant drive. presto, less traffic.
Second, since women would now want to impeach or shoot me, I would have to make a law they dont vote. And since we all know women conspire, I would make another law saying no cell phones for women.
(really complicated to cut the traffic, aint it?)
Well, I guess that is enough for now, but dont be alarmed, I have other equally outstanding ideas to make our life easier.

Everyone MUST finish Christmas shopping by July, that way the stores wont be extra crowded when Im doing MY last minute shopping!

Where I am, Paul McCartney is in serious danger -- since he seems to be having A Wonderful Christmas Time, several times a day.

We've been dealing with the tunes since about mid-November; really put you off your feet during mating season.
